I am pretty sure at one time I got a non-oil form of vitamin E from

Freeda; I seem to remember tablets. Whether or not it is still

derived from soy, I am not sure, though I think all the oil forms

are.

I believe it's possible to find non-soy tocopherols, but I also know they can be hard to find. In additional, I know I'm stop-breathing sensitive to soy, yet do not react to soy-derived tocopherols.

" There are eight forms of vitamin E: four tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) and four tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta). Alpha-tocopherol (alpha-Toc) is the main source found in supplements and in the European diet, while gamma-tocopherol (gamma-Toc) is the most common form in the American diet. "
