Cecilia, congrats on pressing your way through. I know

that it must be so hard but you have your priorities

and that is wonderful. Be encouraged.

That darn Dr. Tanaka tells me (looking down his nose ) that I

should NEVER snack . . . not even vegies!

Seriously, I think he's talking about learning a new way to think

about food, to not even consider eating between meals. Part of the

idea of teaching us to eat to live, not live to eat.

But honestly, some days I can't manage without a small snack here or

there; so I just make sure to have high protein, low carb or vegies to

snack on.

Stay strong and reach for the goal. Remember we are striving for

excellence and not perfection.

I was losing my weight during thanksgiving and Christmas and New

years. it was hard but I reminded myself that this is the last time I

am going to push myself like this.

Set your sights on the goal.

We are here whenever you need us , even when we are having fun. I

am so glad you wrote.
