Guest guest
Yes, it's an intermittent dull ache. I keep thinking it's muscular, but I don't ache in any other part of my low back (just lots of upper and mid back soreness due to exercise and fibromyalgia). I have weak adrenals too. Let me know if you learn more about it. Guest guest
I don't know if this is similar to the pain you are talking about, but before DH started getting typical symptoms of Crohns, he would get pancreatitis attacks. They ALWAYS started with pain in his back. These attacks WERE connected with his Crohns because the only thing that made him better was prednisone instead of the usual pancreatitis treatment (it was all very strange - docs were totally stumped). So his flare was a pancreatitis attack. (now he's having more typical symptoms). But the point is that the back pain was always there. I don't think that's coincidence. Guest guest
the pain always started as lower back pain. He would ask me to crack him and blamed it on bending over the surgery table too long since he's tall. But I'd be like whatever you say honey, you KNOW what this is. And then it would progress to what he called "discomfort" which was right below his chest and went right through to his back. The next day he would be in major pain. His enzymes WERE very high - he definately had pancreatitis, but the only thing that stopped his pain (after 3 weeks of trying) was prednisone which is what led to the diagnosis of Crohns eventually. Like I said - it was really weird. No idea if this is anything like what you have, but who knows!
