Guest guest
Hi Holly! I wish I had some advice. I just have to tell you that I am experiencing the same issue. I am not taking S. Boulardii. I thought it was my probiotics. I have been taking three of them a day. I'm sorry. I hope you figure out what is going on. Hugs! Amy Celiac > > Hi All, > > For two days now, I have had the strangest taste in the mouth. I've been on the diet for 7 weeks, no meds. I started taking S. Boulardii for candida, I took a capsule first thing in the morning on Friday and another on Monday morning. The taste is so strange and I don't really know how to describe it, almost like I haven't brushed my teeth for a week (not that I've ever done that) or like when you wake up in the morning and are very parched. The only time I don't taste it is when I am eating something. I also take SeaCure, legal folic acid and vitamin D drops, which I have been taking for a little while now with no problems, just the S. Boulardii is new. Has anyone else experienced a strange taste from S. Boulardii? > > Thanks, > Holly O. > Crohn's 5/09 > SCD 9/1/09 >

Guest guest
Hi Holly, When I first started the diet, I noticed sudden tarter buildup on my teeth, which my dentist attributed to a change in pH in my mouth due to my dietary changes. This buildup eventually went away, likely since my body adjusted to this new way of eating. Perhaps your body is adjusting and the weird taste is because of that? Guest guest
When I started s. boulardii (at half a capsule), I had a strange ammonia smell in my nose. After some experimentation, it was definately caused by the boulardii. I quit taking it, and will retry again sometime.
