No the portion of the intestine that has been bypassed does nto change

HOWEVER the portion of the intestine that remains becomes a lot more

efficient. Also from what i have heard the number of villi (I believe that

is the spelling) that are in the remaining intestine increases which allows

more absorption. BTC has stated that the amount we malabsorb decreases over

the years and this is the reason why.
