This mind thing is the worst part

To fix or not to fix............that is the question my mind battles

with. Every month I go through this. One week away from my period I am

irritable, moody, mean and seem to crave more foods that I can live

without the rest of the month. I am usually starving (I think) and

want to eat more........ You ladies out there, what happens after

the surgery? Do you still get this way??

Cecilia, I am almost 5 months out and I can tell you

for me, that so far I have not experienced that except

for this month. I was talking to Robynn and I told

her that I craved a soda. Pre surgery I only drunk

diet caffeine free soda and it was one that week of my

period. I did not notice the irritability or any of

the other signs that I normally experience. I am sure

I have them but I have been so excited with twists and

turns of my new life. I am truly so much more happier

and generally, I am not ALLOWING anything or anyone to

take that from me.

But to answer your question, only this month I

experience a craving for a soda (the acid) but I had a

diet peach snapple and that did it for me because I

generally drink nothing but water. I am sure when the

newness wears off I will probably be more focused and

more aware and experience all those old PMS emotional

things.
