Guest guest
I couldn't eat anything except boiled eggs for a long time without problems. Have you checked the pecanbread.com for stages on food ideas of what to start with like zucchini, cooked, seeded and peeled. I think frenched string beans are also on the early stages. For me, that's a lot of yogurt. I started with barely a tsp. and even now couldn't eat 1-3 c. per day. Do you drip it first? I ate a lot of dccc--to the extreme maybe but you could try adding more in. Everyone is different but you may want to check out the menus on pecanbread.com for the stages and the intro diet. The only vegetables I could do for months were baby lima beans (advanced for most), carrots (a lot of people have trouble in the beginning but I've read butternut or acorn squash or pumpkin works for some--not me, even now) and bell pepper (steamed and peeled). Sometimes it takes awhile to find one or two of each food group and do a rotation diet. Add one new item, give it four days to see if there are symptoms and try it again. If it doesn't work, wait until later to try again or add it as a staple if it doesn't bother you at all. Also, one of the moderators, Kim M. I think says with problems, first pull the supplements and add them back in like the foods to see if that is a problem. Keep a food diary so you can see what works and what doesn't. That includes physical and emotional symptoms if you really want to get a handle on it. There's a website you can enter your menu like fitday.com to see where you need more fats, proteins, etc. and that is very helpful to begin with and later down the line. If you can get a basic menu down to get everything settled, you can branch your way out from there. It may take several months or it may just be a matter of following the stages. The first few months, I ate the same thing and kept a big pot of chicken soup as a go-to for snacks. I don't think everyone has the same experience--I just had to start out very slow but everything got better instantly. It was just a matter of finding more food I could handle. The moderators will have more information for you. Hope this helps, it's early lol. Debbie 40 cd scd originally 12/
