Re: MARATHON ( and Francisco)

and Francisco...

I am going to be in Lake Tahoe that weekend for my best friend's 40th birthday bash, and I'm sad I won't be there to see you guys cross that finish line. I had planned from the moment you guys told me you'd be doing it to be there to cheer you on.

Please know that I will absolutely be there in spirit...that I am incredibly proud of the two of you. And that, as I promised...I will be JOINING you in the run next year.

I am so so so so so so so so so proud of you. What an accomplishment, for anybody...let alone for two people who used to hold absolutely no hope that they could ever do anything like that. You were trapped and now you are free. And you've spread that freedom to others through your inspirational examples. Big kisses to both of you, and my heartfelt congratulations!!!

Wow, how exciting for it to finally be here for you two. I will be

in the city as well for Sail San Francisco which is a multi-cultural

event focused around sailing. There will be tours of tall ships and

I am even participating in a battle reinactment sail out on the

Oh my Gosh. Make sure you get to bed really early.

Maybe you could, if your finances allow it, maybe you

could spend the night in San Francisco the night

before. This way you will already be there. Just a

thought. Nonetheless, I will be praying for you.
