Guest guest
Eileen My yeast/candida symptoms had become rarely felt by the end of my 2nd year doing an elimination version of SCD. I learned I had to remain vigilant about my yeast trigger foods and not overdo them for another year. In the past 2 years I've only felt my early-warning signs twice when I overdid dried fruit within a 7-day period. But I also don't eat much of the yeast trigger foods simply because my digestion won't tolerate them. For the past 2 years I've been able to add honey and dried fruit to my muffins and have one every other day or so without a yeast surge. That's a big reward for me. I would say I'm moderately vigilant about how much and how often I consume the trigger foods, and I pay attention to my body's signals so I don't miss the early warning candida symptoms and can stop the surge ASAP. As always, depends on the individual. Kim M. SCD 5+ years >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> just curious what happens after we get yeast under control (no symptoms neg stool tests, neg. spit tests)can we then just do SCD or always low fruit/low honey etc to keep it at bay???thanks Eileen20 months scd
