Guest guest
It seems like a lot of people here are suffering from candida. I was curious what your symptoms were. I mean, how did you decide that that's what the problem was? What first made you think that that might be what it was?Well, first of all I've been having D for over a month, even though my diet's super limited, so that made me look into other causes, especially candida, since so many people on here seemed to have it. The other candida symptoms that were listed were nausea, headache, irritability, constipation, and brain fog. I have all those except constipation. The main clue-ins for me were the irritability and the brain fog. I had no idea why I was always in such a bad mood, and why I wanted to tell people off no matter what they said to me. And usually I'm super smart, but I haven't been able to concentrate as well and I've been feeling just dull in general, again, with no explanation (until I found out it was a candida symptom that is). Then, when I started going to my applied kineseologist, he tested me and said I had it.THEN, I got one of my many tongue sores swabbed and cultured, and IT showed yeast. So basically, if you suspect something's wrong with you other than what you're already treating with the diet, look into candida. If not, enjoy your winter squashes and bananas =) Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa 15UC April 2008, diagnosed Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)No meds except for the stupid iron pill I have to take that is SO illegal

PS my compounding pharmacist believes its behind most if not all GI issues - I'm thinking he's right!! and doc made me read the Yeast connection for woman - amazing book - you'd never know what yeast is responsible for!! Guest guest
Hi Stacey, For me, I was told by my naturopath that I had yeast candida and she put me on a special diet. That was about 2 years before I got onboard the SCD diet. My main symptoms were: constipation, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, bloating and gas. > > Hey everybody! > It seems like a lot of people here are suffering from candida. I don't *think* I have any reason to believe I have that problem but maybe I just don't know enough about it. > Stacey >
