Guest guest
" I would love to use bagged tea " Are we not allowed bagged tea? I thought peppermint tea in bags was OK as long as only peppermint was listed. Thanks, PJ

Guest guest
PJ, Due to not seeing enough results on the diet I learned I needed to be extra stringent and I used measures from the GAPS protocol. They use even more elbow grease with " make your own, make your own " Everything I do is SCD legal but reading the book and hanging on the list taught me some very important tweaks.. After the initial stumbling blocks for me on the SCD and going to an integrative doc- she addressed thyroid issues and deficiency's and the fact I should not be eating any soft boiled eggs!! Boy did I start feeling better and then whammo I ate contaminated meat that completely derailed me.. Then I incorporated ideas from GAPS.. My life completely changed when stopped buying local apple cider (I tried so many brands locally here in NYC) And I started making my own fresh, strained heavily diluted juice. Thankfully most do not need to go as extreme and like super freak level the way I had to. It took me quite a while to learn all of this! Just like now, limiting carb intake (which I learned from the book " Life Without Bread " ) has really helped me post surgery to get firm BM's without using medication. As I am very sensitive to meds. It has been a real turn around for me.. So it's all like a work in progress. LOL. Jodi
