Questions & Update following car accident

Hi All!

It's 3 weeks past the car accident and I'm still in a

lot of pain! The doctors want to do an MRI & a EMG to

rule out a pinched nerve or a disk problem. I'm out

my third week from work with leave without pay. I

filed under the FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), so I

can take off 12 weeks total if I need it.

I have my first consult for WLS with Dr. Vanguri next

week, May 25th. My question to you all is, how long

does it take from the consult date to the surgery

date? I know allot depends on the surgeon's

schedule, I'm just trying to get an estimate. The

ideal situation for me would be to have the surgery as

soon as possible while I'm already off of work. My 12

weeks under FMLA will be up the end of July. I'm

afraid if my surgery is scheduled after July there

will be NO WAY I can get off work unless I quit my job

and I don't want to do that! Right now I'm covered

under 3 Health Insurance policies, MD IPA, MD Health

Choice, and Medical Assistance. If anyone can offer

any guidance on getting insurance approval and a

surgery date ASAP I would sure appreciate your

help!!!!!!
