The bowel obstruction was caused by adhesions. After any type of surgery,

there is scar tissue (adhesions) that forms. They grow kinda like roots

throughout the abdominal cavity. In very rare instances, they grow and end

up creating blockages. Mine had grown around the ailmentary limb and caused

a kink in the bowel. It happens VERY rarely.
