Hi all,

I'm really feeling wonderful, but I find that I tire easily. A short

walk around Target and I have to sit down... so weird for me.

I have noticed, or rather I should say that my wonderful partner

noticed that I now have " dog breath " ...... any suggestions???

I made my own cream of chicken soup that was very filling. I just made

a pot of chicken soup, and took some chicken, broth, a couple of

carrots and blended the heck out it. Very smooth and yummy. I ate my

1/4 cup and was very satisfied.

I bought a bottle of Isopure, punch flavor. Not bad tasting. My

question is... do I drink this as a meal or as a liquid? Do you think

it'ws ok to dilute with more water? I do that with all the flaovored

waters... propel, sobe lean etc.

Thanks,

Maggie

Hi Maggie,

I'm sorry, I don't remember how far out you are? I'm guessing you very

recently had your surgery, in which case I strongly recommend you read

the info about Hibernation Syndrome. Go to the bottom of this message to

click on the link to the home page of this group, then click on the

" Files " link on the left side. Scroll down until you get to the file

called " Hibernation Syndrome.txt " . Listen to your body when it says it

needs rest! Even if your surgery was lap, it was still major surgery.

You had people rearranging your innards with sharp instruments, and it

takes time to recover from that. Give yourself that time!

Regarding the " dog breath " , it's probably ketosis, which means your body

is burning fat. This is good, even if the breath isn't. I found the

little mint strips that you put on your tongue and let dissolve were

helpful. They're basically just gelatin. I think there was one cinnamon

flavored one that was too strong and hurt pouchie a bit.

Yes, you can dilute Isopure.

Hope that helps! Enjoy the ride, and the start of your new life!
