Guest guest
i suspect that your milk was bad (had soured). This has only happened to me once and it turned out that my milk wasn't good anymore. It didn't smell either. If i were you, I would not consume this batch. - > > I made my yogurt the usual way, but this batch is really watery- not like unfermented milk, but with a lot of the yellowish water that I uually drip off, floating on top of the solid yogurt. I'm going to drip it, but I will lose more than half the batch. Any ideas why this happened? It smells OK. > > PJ >

Guest guest
I think you're right. I left it out a little longer after I heated it, and it must have gone bad, or was about to go bad in the first place. I tried to drip it, but it came out all clumpy and yukky. I tossed it. Thanks, PJ > > > > I made my yogurt the usual way, but this batch is really watery- not like unfermented milk, but with a lot of the yellowish water that I uually drip off, floating on top of the solid yogurt.
