Guest guest
Hi all Well I have been trying to have surgery since last October 2000. It has been Dr. canceled several times and also because I wasn't able to get all my pre testing done in time. Well, I have had everything done and Ivonne from Dr. Gagner's office never received my Endoscopy results even though they were faxed to her four times. To make a long story short I have less than two weeks before my scheduled date of May 24th and Daryl the insurance guy just got to my chart possibly Friday. My insurance company was trying to find out info for me BUT no one would answer their letters due to the fact that my chart was not complete. SO as of tonight my pre op testing is for this coming Friday the 18th, and I still do not know if I will be covered. I am asking for all your prayers and thanking you all for letting me sound off........ I knew you would all be sympathetic and understanding. If I do get approved I would love an angel. Guest guest
I had the same insurance problems--my insurance company was waiting to approve me, but didnt have the information from Daryl--my surgery was scheduled for May 11th--as of May 1st--everything was done except the last minute pre-op testing ekg, chest xray & blood work--so on May 1st I emailed my surgeon, dr inabnet--may 1st he responded & told me he would check in to my chart first thing in the morning & hopefully my insurance would approve so I could have my scheduled may 11th surgery--I was just very matter-of-fact---this is complete, this is done, the only thing pending is information getting to my insurance company--may 2--daryl called me at work & told me I needed to relax & let him do his job---I told him so long as it was my life being affected, then I would not relax... well, a couple of hours later--daryl called me back at work & told me that my insurance had approved me withing 15minutes & then they wanted to know if I could move my surgery date to May 4th--so on May 2 I went out & finished my preop testing & was on my way to nyc ... so, what i am trying to say--although long, is maybe a quick email to your doctor--might get some kind of something moving for you. ogretta post-op & grateful may 4th, 2001 dr inabnet, mt sinai In duodenalswitch@y..., MOMMYoMANY@a... wrote: > Hi all > Well I have been trying to have surgery since last October 2000.
