Guest guest
, As far as questions about how we will be in our 50's and 60's if we have the surgery now in our 30's. I just remember what my parent's reaction to a medicine I started taking for my depression about 10 years ago. At that time there was ALOT of bad publicity about some side effects. I took the medicine and it was the best thing I ever did. I told them that if I grow a third eyeball in the middle of my head 20 years from now from an unknown side effect, it will be worth it. Because I would never, never want to give up how much better I feel with the medicine. I think it is going to be the same with the surgery ( You can guess I am preop). We have had to deal with many, many things in our lives. We have adapted and fit into many square pegs, sometimes not willingly, but we have. I feel that with this surgery I will be able to do anything, or cope with anything that is necessary to live a better life. JMHO Hope this helps, Remember it all started with a mouse. -Walt Disney- vvanb@...
Guest guest
, This is true. I am beginning to realize that I have to think about my life now and realize that if I don't have the surgery my life will continue to be difficult and EXHAUSTING. I am so tired of being tired. I don't want my back to hurt anymore and I want to wear the other 90% of the clothes in my closet that don't fit me. I'm scared, excited, then scared again. Thanks for the encouragement.
