Hi all,

I'm a's husband, and I've never done this before. So, please bare

with me :) a had her surgery this morning and got out about

1:30pm, but this was mainly due to Dr. Hess not showing up till

10:00. But after the surgery he said everything went fine. She is in

ICU tonight, pretty sedated, and on oxygen. Also they tied her hands

cause she kinda was trying to pull the tubes out. But, they had told

us ahead of time that all these things were common. So, it was

expected. She should be out of ICU tomorrow morning (Apr 12). Also,

they plan to be able to take off the oxygen tomorrow too. a told

me before the operation to write this. I guess that's all i really

know right now. But, the nurses said everything looks fine right now.

Troy,

Thanks for the update on a. Please let her know

I'm sending her all my good thoughts and know that as

my husband always says " I'm better than yesterday but

not as good as tomorrow " applies to her. Tomorrow is

always something to look forward to and today is

better than yesterday! So I know she'll have lots of

great tomorrows ahead of her! Angel
