Just so you don't feel bad, my 3 month flare lasted 5 weeks---the next month I felt really good. In another flare now, but that means I can look forward to another good month soon .

"No meds except for the stupid iron pill I have to take that is SO illegal"

I know you have to take it. A few years ago when my GI tract was light years better than it is now, I took iron for anemia. I was in agony and couldn't even sleep the GI pain was so bad. So what you think is a flare just might be the iron. The MD I had put on a form called Niferex, and if I took it with food, I had no pain, some increased C, but no pain.
