Guest guest
Not only did I have Oliver, my teddy bear...but brought me this darling giraffe (that my husband and brother insist is a COW, as if she would be so tasteless to bring me a cow. Hmmm...come to think of it, it is a gift, and she may have been pulling a fast one. It IS a giraffe, right ????) and he was very very soft, and I kept him in one hand (he's cute and tiny), and Ollie bear in my other arm (he's bigger and huggable). I wuv my bear. And he gave me great comfort in the middle of the night when I was all by myself, and I needed someone to hug. RobynnLaWanda Ezell wrote: Bring one, I was going to do so but forgot him. A friend brought me a little cuddly bear who was kind of dressed up as if he was sick. I dubbed him Surgery Sam and meant to bring him. I am 56, so just do whatever makes you feel good. Guest guest
wow, there were alot great responses. I don't have a huggy pillow, but I have a stuffed cat dressed in an airforce uniform from Build-a-bear. My mom gave me a small teddy bear that has bunny ears, I thought it was a bit kooky. Then again, It's fits me perfectly. I probably should bring the kooky teddy bear. This Friday I'm getting a cap on my front tooth finally, I've been running around with a temp cap for a month. It's a shame that a visit to the dentist cost so much. > I wanted to ask a silly question, did anyone bring in a stuffed animal > to the hospital while recovering from surgery?
