Guest guest
Dr. Quinn, (Gagner's fellow) told me that the laparascopic DS is thee hardest Laparascopic surgery there is. She said that they do the BPD/DS surgery first and then see if they HAVE to take out the GB. She said that by the time they have done the BPD/DS, there is so much internal swelling that it is hard to tell tissues apart and removing the GB becomes tricky. Even though I have gallstones, they did not remove my GB. They said it was not diseased and they didnt want to leave me under the anasthesia any longer. My surgery was already about 5 hours due to the stapler malfunction. JILL K in NY __________________________________________________
