Guest guest
Hello all, I have a friend who just had RNY less than a week ago and she has some post op weight gain. Is that normal with WLS to gain weight after the surgery? I had no idea what to tell her and another friend is scheduled to have surgery on 04-24 and she is worried about the same thing. I would love to hear from anyone that can give a little more information. Thanks
Guest guest
From what I understand this is completely normal. It's water/fluid retention from the surgery and also from the affects of the anesthesia. She will drop it in another week or so.
