what would you do in this situation??

Hi everyone, I am sorry if some of this may end up not making any sense, but

I at the end of my brain! The more I think about it, the more I just want to

cry (and I have been too)

I just talked to the surgeons office yesterday morning (Thurs) and I need

to get a letter from my PCP stating that he has seen me for yadda yadda

years and weight has been an issue. My weight has ALWAYS BEEN A ISSUE!!! I

was placed on a diet at the age of 8. The only problem is that I cannot get

in to see him until the 3rd of July!! As it is, I am going to the Urgent

Care (walk in clinic) today to have blood pressure meds prescribed

(specialist recommendation due to it has been too high for too long). All of

my records from the past for the Clinic where my peds doc was have been

shredded due to the age of them,as well as they have shut down, so I have NO

RECORD of the MULTITUDE of diets that they placed me on when I was a child!

The prob I keep having running through my head is the fact of how many probs

I am having walking (due to my knees and ankles..all of which I have had

surgery on) and how much pain I have been in due to the pinched nerve in my

back. My ortho surgeon had written a letter that stated that I NEEDED this

surgery due to the probs and that they WILL NOT do a knee replacement at my

present weight, other than the fact that the replacement can be bypassed

possibly if the WLS is done. As it is I feel like a walking pharmacy now!

pain meds, sleeping meds, asthma meds, anti~inflammatory meds, ulcer meds,

allergy meds...the list goes on AND ON!!! Am I depressed you ask yourself.

HELL YES I am at this point in time!!! The more this procedure is dragged

out, the longer I HAVE to live with the pain of everyday life. As it is, the

surgeon is 5 hrs away, due to the surgeon here only does the RNY..NOT a

choice for me.

I am sorry to cry all over your monitor, but I do not know what to do at

this point. Do I want to give up? NO, but it sure does seem like the easier

way right now! I know that if it was meant to be that it will happen, but I

am not so sure any more. Not sure what to think right now.

I draft a body of a letter that stated what I needed and drop it off at my doctor's office indicating I needed a letter that said something like this.

Then call every 3 days to see if he has reviewed it, had a letter typed up, and signed it.
