hi all...I've been lurking on the list since my consult with Dr. Gagner at

Mt. Sinai on March 21st. I've been attempting to get all my testing done

asap since Ivonne has told me that they will not book a surgery without all

done beforehand so they can send it all in to the insurance co at once.

Sharon...My heart aches for you...your post has hit a nerve with me...A

while back I went with a friend to Great adventure amusement park...what

happened there was not a bit amusing...after standing in line for 1 hour to

go on the rollercoaster, one of my faves, as I sat down in the small seat I

realized it wasn't going to be. Instead of letting me get up and walk away

with my dignity sort of intact, an eager worker tried to jam the saftey bars

down on my belly to " make me fit " . After no amount of pain and humiliation

he made me get out and walkdown the up ramp through a line of hundreds of

people snickering at the " fat lady " who counldn't fit on the ride...This was

one of the worst moments of my life. So when anyone asks me why I want

theis surgery, one of my 1st answers (after my health) is to be able to ride

the rollercoaster. Hang in there all you preops...a better life is around

the corner...And thanks so much to all of you post ops who are so inspiring.
