I am a total lurker so far on this list, but I read it religiously. I have learned so much. My thanks to everyone who is so open and honest, and willing to help others out. I live in Everett and am considering changing PCP's. It sounds like you have a good doctor and you've been educating him. Would you mind giving me his name? My doctor is good, but is not really up on WLS or very aggressive about the idea. I don't need a referral from him as any doctor that I chose for the DS will be out of their plan. Which brings me to another question. I just heard about a doctor in Richland, WA that is doing the DS....Dr. Heap. Has anyone used him or have any experience with him? I'd appreciate any input anyone has. Thanks in advance, and u'll probably be hearing more from me now that I am sure this is the surgery for me...it's time to get serious.
