Hi all! If you are like me and still new to trying to create a

varied menu of foods with a highly concentrated level of protein, you

may like to try some of the following.

Smoke Salmon -- 4 ozs has 37 grams of protein

Great cold with cheese and crackers

Try crumbling some over rice or buttered noodles

DeliMex Beef or Chicken Tamales -- approx 17 grams of protein each

Available at Costco/PriceClub and at SaveMart

Easy to fix -- wrap frozen tamale in a paper towel, microwave on

high for one minute. Remove corn husk, add some grated cheese and

microwave on high for 30 - 45 seconds to melt cheese (more protein).

Kirkland Four Cheese Ravioli -- Available at Costco/PriceClub

5 oz serving has approx 17 grams of protein

Good without any topping, but great when tossed in melted butter,

garlic and parsley. Also good tossed with Pesto Sauce, Marinara

Sauce or an Alfredo Sauce.

Hope you guys like these, would like to hear some suggestions that

you have. The more variety, the less likely we are to cheat and eat

something we probably shouldn't.

Hey Pamela:

I have been doing the smoothie you posted awhile back. I like the

taste and it is my breakfast on the run now that I'm back to work.

In fact I have to make two because my husband likes it and it's his

breakfast on the run also! I just wanted to let you know that your

posts have been helpful.

thank you

Jo
