Guest guest
I have PCOS and have been taking Glucoplage for about 6 months. I am not sure that it is helping or not. I haven't lost anything. My doctor told me to try to avoid Carb's and sugar as much as possible. Hope that helps. --- Looplj@... wrote: > Just wondering if any of you who have had the BPD/DS > Surgery and who > have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome/Disease have found > their symptoms > lessened after surgery. > > My surgery is not until 5 November 2001 - 26 and a > half weeks away > not that I'm counting), and I have gainsed 7.5 > pounds since > Christmas - as I have not been as disciplined as > usual with my eating > habits. > > Anyway to cut to the chase I found a health article > which recomends > that Metformin(Glucophage) a Type 2 diabetes drug, > is now being > prescribed for womem with PCOS.
