Guys, I just recieved this from Darlenes daughter. She'll be contacting me directly, so that she's not inundated with emails via her cell. Please hold her in your hearts and prayers, and know that all the well wishes are felt in the virtual world.

This is Darlene's oldest daughter, Carlena. She gave me your addy and asked me to email you so you and the other list members would know what's going on with her. Please pass to the group, as you see fit.

Mom has been quite ill the past few weeks, and is now in the hospital. They are running all kinds of tests, and at this point, we still don't know what's going on.

She's running a high fever, her blood pressure is high, and she has severe back pain that radiates down her legs. She hasn't eaten in 5 days and is dehydrated. Each time she sits up to try to eat, she's hit with a wave of pain that makes her nauseous. They're giving her fluids, etc., via an IV. They suspect a kidney infection (tho not confirmed), and an ultrasound showed a problem with her gall bladder. They said both could contribute to her symptoms, but were not the cause, and they feel there's more going on, they just don't know yet what.

We hope to learn more today, and I will keep you posted. She was/is concerned about the group, as she has not been well enough to be on the puter these past few weeks, and is way behind on email, the list, etc.

Please let me know that you received this, and I'll keep you updated. I really hope they have some answers today and can do something for her, as she is in much pain.
