Guest guest Posted April 19, 2001 Report Share Posted April 19, 2001 Tiger, I remember how it was near the bases when I lived in Newport News, Virginia, and Clinton, land ( s Airforce Base). There is no way you can not be proud to be an American when you see the ships rolling in and/or the planes landing. And then to see your loved one walking towards you.... Oh gosh I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it. I hope that his absence will seem short even though it will be 6 months. Imagine the difference again that he will see when he " comes home " .
