Guest guest
I do not/have not routinely had diarhea; problems twice (once because I reverted to old deires and had a PINT of frozen yogurt....now I cannot even glimpse a Haagen Daaz container, THAT's a miracle, to turn away from ice cream) at night I ususally get gas, but it is handled by taking gas-x I feel great, none of that " you will feel bad for your first ___weeks or months " lots of energy joint pain gone I am working on the mental outlook: i consider it a blessing to be satisfied with a small amount of food, it's a blessing to be satisfied with ANY AMOUNT of food. i started out at 341 lbs and 45 years old, and guess what, the operation hasn't made me nay younger! (DAMN) but I feel younger and am getting active. I don't have a scale at home, 3 week check up revealed 31 lbs gone, a doctor's visit for allergies revealed another 5 down, so 36 lbs at least in 6 weeks, I'll report accurately in another three weeks about the weight. I play it real safe with food choices. I have had some stomach ache after eating, but TUMS usually relieves it and I found that taking my actigall separate from mealtime seems to make the REAL difference. I know this change was the right one FOR ME and my body and at this time. I hope everyone has a good experience and I hope mine continues, I will work to do my part. I learn a lot from reading this site, thanks to all of you! LennyB LAP BPD/DS DR.
