I know it has become comical hasn't it? I have been trying to not

talk protein too much lately although I am still trying to figure how

to get in that 55-60grams of supplement per day. (It hasn't happened

yet!) I have to tell you I bought a can of soy powder a week ago but

have just been staring at it....I guess because I vomited the whey

protein drinks and bars up each time I tried them, I have been having

a problem being able to mentally convince myself to drink this new

soy stuff. I feel soooo good just eating and drinking that I guess

my will to feel well is overriding the part of my mind that says " you

must keep trying new protein supplements until you find one that

works! " I am suppose to report in to Doc the end of this week

about my 1 month (4week) status, so I have to try a glass of the

stuff before then. I don't want to get the good Doc mad at me =o)

Thanks to everyone who offered ideas of where to look for soy

nuts. I'm going to go out and search for them tomorrow.

Sheila (TX)...oh....for those of you who know my lengthy 9 month

battle for sugical approval...imagine how I felt today when I got a

letter from the ins. co. stating they were denying payment of my

surgery and refusing to pay Dr. and all other fees involved...I

had a nice long talk with them and they have been made aware that I

have a letter of authorization in hand and will not leave them alone

until they get their act straightened out and my bills paid. To date

I have been billed for apx $48,000 in expenses and I haven't even got

all the bills in yet. The fight will continue although it shouldn't

have been this way after what they put me through before. I am

furious...but it is different than before because now I have my

surgery and they can't take it away from me so I am more calm in this

battle but I will stay on top of this until it is corrected. Count

on it!
