Homemade from organics is great. However, it depends on how you're making it. If you're using a juicer like the Omega 8002 (now 8005) to press the juice out and discard the pulp, you should be able to use it, diluted, just like any other legal juice. However, you should not use a blender or Vitamix to puree the vegetable and have it raw at the outset of the diet. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Marilyn, Yes I do use a juicer to separate the pulp. Carrot juice has so many benefits that can help upper GI and other ailments. Plus the juice has quite a bit of calories in it, just needs to be consumed slowly. Thanks! Just remember that it is also high in carotene and if you drink too much, you may end up turning orange. In addition, it is quite high in carbs, and a jolt of carbs might not be the best thing. Diluting is best. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
