Guest guest
I guess Im just so absolutely petrified of going back. I can totally relate to how an anorexic must feel. I am down from my 162(12 pound regain) to 158 this morning. I will try to eat more. Everyone is telling me that Im putting my body into starvation mode. I did see the nutritionalist on the 20th(Beth Waggoner) who told me my previous meals were fine..it was just the extra snacking I was doing that was what was causing the gain. But Im in panic mode and until I get back to 150 Im gonna be as strict as I can. Thanks Francisco for your concern. Im really trying to look at this gain as a minor set back and just get back on track without starving myself. Im doing better today. I had a protein bar for breakfast, a salad with cheese, garbanzos, and beets plus one hot dog(no bun) for lunch. I will have a yogurt for snack and then a lite dinner on the way to the meeting tonight. It will consist of turkey slices, asparagus, olives and a few crackers. Is that better?? Im having a tough time telling lately. Guest guest
Hot dogs used to make me very ill early post op. Now they dont. I think its all the nitrates etc. I was just really really hungry because as Francisco duly noted I wasnt eating enough...and thats what they served at school today. I do eat them but very rarely...its my last choice at a BBQ if there is anything else offered.
