Yes, the basic concept is that the fat is around the abdomen. People with

central obesity carry most of the excess weight around their mid-section.

This is different from upper obesity in which the fat is carried at the top

of the body and is known as " fat head " .

More males are prone to central obesity. Draw your own gender conclusions

about upper obesity.
