Was doing some more research on Honey and you can buy honey comb honey and eat it like that, or Raw unfiltered honey which has bits of pollen and stuff in it. Is all this legal on SCD?-UC - 1 yearSCD - 3.5 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 4 pills 3 times a day - hopefully scd will help me get off these! No more Hydrocortisone or Prednisone!

I have read that small amount of stevia in supplements are allowed, does anyone have experience with this? My mother wanted to try a recipe and thought it would be nice to include this, i don't know how i feel.

The best part of the pollen is that if you use 2 Tablespoons every day, you are building immunity to it so when the seasonal allergies come, you don't get hit. Works for our whole family! It's best to use a batch from a farm as close to home as possible so that the pollens are similar. A company we found is http://www.honeygardens.com/honey.htm

Eating local honey is said to help build immunity to local

allergens.

However, the " bits of pollen and stuff " in it can be a serious

problem when first starting the diet. It is therefore recommended that

newcomers use only filtered and pasteurized honey.
