Re: SCD and Juvenile Rheumetoid Arthritis?

Hi ,

In the forward to the Elaine's book Dr. R Hoffman mentions arthritis as being helped by SCD. I would think that since rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease as is Crohn's, etc. it would help.

As I began placing patients on the “Specific Carbohydrate Diet™,†using Food and the Gut Reaction as a comprehensive guide, I became impressed with the results. Many patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and even refractory constipation, found relief although their progress had been stymied previously with elaborate but unsuccessful elimination schemes.
