Guest guest
Bonnie, it's good to hear from you, even if it's for a problem! I'm glad you have a friend who will come when you need her/him. You'll have to forgive me because I can't remember your full story (heck, some days I can't remember mine!). Do you have a neurologist that you see? Was it just one of the ER docs who checked you? If so, and these are new sensations, I'd recommend that you call your neurologist. You might need to get your appt. moved up sooner. If you don't have a neuro, you need to find one. Yes, NS can cause TIA's if you develop vasculitis in the brain or vessels leading to the brain. Tracie provided a link to explain vasculitis. There is also much info in the archives. Do you know how to search the archives? Here's the vasculitis link: http://vasculitis.med.jhu.edu/whatis/symptoms.html Ramblin' Rose Moderator Get a bird’s eye view of your home with Windows Live Local

Guest guest
Thanks It was the ER doctor, but a friend who is a rheumatologist and my family doctor told me to go to the hospital. The ER doc wasn't very good. He grabbed my leg so hard that I screamed. I had just told him how sore my legs are, but he grabbed anyway and left his finger imprints on my skin. I think I insulted him because I asked him to stop. My friend jumped and told him how bad my legs were, and he just stood there. I am going to my family doctor today, she is also a friend. I still don't have insurance, but she said she will help me in anyway that she can. She wants me to try to get on disability. My heart is a mess and I was told before that I will probably need a pacemaker, and I probably do now. Five years ago, an echo showed pulmonary hypertension. This is hard. People around me don't understand why I want to keep on working (i work at home), but it all that I have left. They have normal lives, and I basically have no life. Not feeling sorry for myself, just trying to deal with myself. I fight myself a lot. It's hard to give up and give in. Thanks Bonnie
Guest guest
Bonnie Change is hard especially when it's forced on us by health issues. I hated going on medical leave and being out of work for over a year now but I wasn't able to do my job correctly & would have gotten fired if I didn't take the leave. I keep hope in my heart that they'll get all this junk under control & I'll at least be able to return part time at some other type of job. That's what keeps me going. At least you could possibly get some medical coverage if you applied for disability. I don't know what the laws are about working from home but it wouldn't hurt to try to find out. grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
