, that's great about the minivan; hope it works out. Did Kathy get some coverage by Medicaid or something for her surgery? I know that she will feel so much better when all that infection is cleaned out.

That's a shame about the GI bill; seems like it should be available indefinitely. We have so much money floating around in this country; I wish I could control how it's spent! I'd take the thousands of dollars of free stuff given to the presenters & sell it on Ebay. Celebrities & athletes would have salary caps (surely they can live on $10,000,000 a year). I'd appoint a panel of "ordinary" people to redistribute money for health care, education, housing, etc. The next rich idiot willing to spend $20 million to ride in a space shuttle would be sent into permanent orbit. It's not just wealthy people, though. I know plenty of people on welfare or minimum wage who drink Starbucks coffee or buy expensive electronic toys. I read last week that Americans spend $34 BILLION on coffee each year! Now Mc's is going to serve some premium blend, because that's what we want. It's all craziness!

I would also ban plasma tv's, iPods, expensive video games, fancier & fancier cell phones, etc. until Americans quit bitching about the economy.

I know, I know, people are entitled to spend their money however they want. And I don't really believe in socialism. But maybe a little socialism, along with a little tyranny (that would be ME, deciding where the money goes!) wouldn't be so bad.

Sorry, , I sort of went on a tangent. Blame it on my brain disorder!

Hello,

I don't have much time left here today because I was reading posts with Classmates.com that I'd signed up for last September and the posts here as well.

Kathy seened this doctor that can do this surgery for her. I forgot the day as of this writing though. We may get this mini-van for us to use. That Steve signed the title over to us. When Kathy got that Chevy Calivalier, she had existing bad credit at the time. The interest rate she was paying was like 25%. She owes a little over $3,000.00 on this NOW completely "totaled" car that is not worth fixing at all.

Kim, I could take notes and respond to your e-mail but not enough time for today. Going back to college is out of the question for me. I was entitled to the "G.I. Bill" for education but this expired 10 years after getting out of the military service. This was of May, 1989.
