Guest guest
missmoe, I have had pain that hurts in my shoulder but it turns out it isn't the joint. So they have never considered doing any ortho treatment. I have had injections into the cervical spine which helped. A shaving of the bone might not be too bad if his is in the joint.. My husband has a bad shoulder. the joint is completely worn out, Where the ball of the humerus should be round, his is worn flat. So, he cannot raise his arm up very far at all. They tell him that he needs a new shoulder (like a new hip) but they say thet the rehab for that is so difficult that they don't recommend having it done. They would do it if he wanted it done but his doctor said if it were him he wouldn;t have the surgery, so Jim is saying no also. (Jim is also a surgery wimp ) Barb J. missmoe wrote: My husband (pulmonary sarcoidosis) is having right shoulder pain. We have had him to an ortho-pod and he is willing to perform surgery (shave off part of the bone). Does anyone else have shoulder pain - that may be attributed to saroidosis? Guest guest
Hi, I'm sorry this reply is so long in coming. My email is messed up; my messages are either delayed or never come at all. I don't know if anyone else has replied to your question. >> My husband (pulmonary sarcoidosis) is having right shoulder pain. Guest guest
I don't have shoulder pain but for several years I have had hip pain which finially was explained in the last year as caused from extra bone growth from the sarcoid...the same option was offered but I had several corisone injections and it has calmed down right now. So far so good. Good luch Ruth -- In Neurosarcoidosis , " missmoe " wrote: > > My husband (pulmonary sarcoidosis) is having right shoulder pain.
