Guest guest
Dear Pomy I am glad to hear from you here in the posts and know that you are alright. Please take some advice from a person who has learned the hard way - you MUST GO TO A DR. DURING THESE TYPES OF ATTACKS or AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTERWARDS. It is honestly the only wya they can assess your symptoms and see what is going on. I also think that they dont take you as seriously if you show up much later, they think if it was so bad you would have ocme to the ER or the Dr when it was happening. They don't get it that people with chronic illness make decisions on a daily basis about when and if to seek out urgent medical attention - knowing that they will only be held up in the ER when they feel like crud, for hours or days anyway, and that nothing will change. So often we make the call to live iwth it, maybe because weve not been given clear instruction by our drs regarding when tehy want to hear from us, what to consider a true emergency, maybe because we have gotten so used to be ignored and sent away that we figure whats the point? But the point is your life and well being. Please next time, make someone take you during the episode/attack, and show the drs how serious it is so they take the tests quickly and see what is really happening in your body at the time.
