Guest guest
Hi everyone! I have been doing good with my Stage II diet and getting in lots of water now. Whew. no more dehydration. I think I have that constipation thing licked now too. I have a new problem though that has cropped up in the last several days. Has anyone else post op experienced this? It is a white deposit of some kind on the back of my tongue back by my left tonsil. When I swallow it grazes my tonsil and is making it sore. I have scraped as much of that stuff off as I can get to, considering the gag reflex. Is this like vitamin build up or something? I can't seem to gargle it away and it only goes away by my scraping it. Even with the scraping it seems to come back and I have noticed it is further down my tongue tonight. Any thoughts? Oh on a good note I weighed myself at the gym tonight....FINALLY! And the scale said I have lost 16lbs in 10 days??? I kept staring at the scale and the girlfriend I had with me counted as well, since I didn't believe my eyes. It is 16 lbs less since I was weighed before surgery. What a trip! If anyone can shed light on my tongue thing, I would really welcome the response! Kay 336 Orientation 5/6/04 Date of surgery 290 6/28/05 7/8.... 274 YAHOO!
