Guest guest
I think the idea of having a group for advanced-SCDers is excellent, to keep separated the problems newbies have getting used to the whole thing from the questions/problems people have when they've been on SCD longer term. I know in the ten 11 weeks I've been on SCD I have sure learned a lot, mostly from all of you, though I know I'm not qualified for the new group yet, not if it takes a year. I will look forward to it, though. Your comment, Marilyn, made me think of something. Of course what we are trying to do in sorting things out is pretty difficult, because as you say, we are all different. We can't even all follow exactly the same SCD diet at first; I know I can't. But what if the database could contain several sections. One would be the Legal Letters file. Another might be people's experiences with needed drugs, like yours here, Marilyn, in which the fillers caused the trouble. Of course not everyone will have the same problem wiht the same things, but seems to me that stories like this would serve as a learning experience and guide for others. Perhaps in the Legal Letters section there might be a place under each item where people could say " I have no trouble with this " and others could say they did. Just a couple of ideas off the top of my head. Ironically, the on-going pain which I was attributing to my surgery turned out to be gut-spasms caused by feeding all those dratted bad bacteria I've been trying to starve out. How do you create a list of " most of the items we take in " ? What I consume is not what you consume, and may not bear any relationship to what a dozen other people may consume?
