Hi all...

I have posted in the past that I was working on seeing Dr Heap in Richland WA

and then got a denial. I felt rather defeated but have taken the bull by the

horns again and made some progress. I really felt my dr was not treating me

properly. She's not treated anything, the pain in my back, my swollen ankles

and feet, my high blood pressure...so I went to see Dr Banjanin here in

Bellingham WA today. Besides talking about my situation being life threatening,

he put me on high blood pressure meds, changed my anti depressant, had lab work

done and will see me in 2 weeks. I feel like he's actively responding and

taking good care of me. He's very supportive of the surgery and feels that I

need to do something so he is writing a strong letter and we'll go step by step

thru this. My insurance exclusion is for Obesity only which means I have a shot

and the denial was written as if I just didnt provide enough information. So

everyone keep your fingers crossed. I want this and I t!

hink it will be life saving.....

AJ-

It sounds like you have a chance now and you have a much more

caring and responsible PCP.

I have heard really good things about Dr. Heap. Good luck to

you!
