Guest guest Posted April 5, 2001 Report Share Posted April 5, 2001 After my sleep center consult on Tuesday, they decided to put me on the " urgent cancellation list " on account of how sleepy I generally feel during the day. OK, so I played it up a little bit because I didn't want to wait until mid-June for a sleep study. But I really HAVE been very sleepy during the day and I usually get anywhere from 7-12 hours of sleep a night; I have just been living with it for so long I usually play it down. Well, I got the call at work this afternoon. They had a cancellation tonight; could I come in? Of course! So, not much longer before my first major co-morbidity gets officially diagnosed - yay!!! How strange to be so happy to learn of a big health problem. But I am really hoping it will help with the insurance approval for my surgery, scheduled for May 9th. Wish me Luck!
