Guest guest
Hi, Alyssa,Good question. Especially if oyu are yeasty, you might want o find savoury rather than sweet ways to enjoy yogurt. There was a recent post here with Turkish recipes, including I think, Tzatziki essentially grated and drained cuke mixed with salt and yogurt. Peel one or two cucumbers, slice thinky or grate, mix with salt and pepper and about a cup of yogurt for each cup of cuke. Fine to de-seed the cukes if you aren't doing seeds: peel the cuke, cut in half the long way, de-seed, then slice or grate. Of course I don't know if something like this appeals to you. There are Indian yogurt dishes called Raita that are savory-not sweet yogurt dishes. Mostly veggies and spices mixed w yogurt. If you have dripped yogurt, you might make dips with it. Let us know if these kinds of ideas appeal to you.Ruth> I love the yogurt- and eat it all different waysI need some ways!!! The only ways I've been eating it are in a smoothie with banana and almond butter, or just with banana in it. Unfortunately, I gag every time I eat just a plain banana, and it's actually because of the seeds in the middle, so I have to CORE MY BANANAS BEFORE I EAT THEM. So I stopped eating them except in banana pancakes and smoothies. But yeah, ideas would be appreciated.. thanks! =)Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa
