Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about the iritis. I returned to the eye doctor today after one week on the dialating drops and continuing the pred drops. He is doing another injection tomorrow in my right eye. This really hit me hard because I just had an injection a litle over two weeks ago. I had injections in both eyes last october so I was really taken aback to have another one so soon. My eye is visiably swollen too. He is recomending to my Rheumatologist to start Remicaid. I still have to face getting the insurance company to ok it. I am blessed that I have good insurance but who knows what they will say. I had pretty much given up hope of ever getting anyone to listen and ok this treatment. Perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel...I just hope it isn't a train! I hope you all have painfree days.... Ruth

I am getting the injections because of inflamations. Although my right eye is more inflamed the left vision is decreasing. I think he feels I am getting a catarac on the left. He is contacting the rheumy to sugggest Remacaid. The swelling is of my eye lid. OF course because of all this I can not drive and it is making me crazy to call and ask for rides. I live in the county and that makes it even worse. I am just praying for the remicaid and that the insurance company come through with approval. thanks Ruth > > > Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about the iritis.
