Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about the iritis. I returned to the eye doctor today after one week on the dialating drops and continuing the pred drops. He is doing another injection tomorrow in my right eye. This really hit me hard because I just had an injection a litle over two weeks ago. I had injections in both eyes last october so I was really taken aback to have another one so soon. My eye is visiably swollen too. He is recomending to my Rheumatologist to start Remicaid. I still have to face getting the insurance company to ok it. I am blessed that I have good insurance but who knows what they will say. I had pretty much given up hope of ever getting anyone to listen and ok this treatment. Perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel...I just hope it isn't a train! I hope you all have painfree days.... Ruth
Guest guest
Ruth, I hope all goes well with your eyes and all, hopefully the shot won't hurt or anything. I don't think I have ever had a shot in my eye except when I was asleep for my strabismus repair. Good luck and I hope your insurance pays for the remicade. I know how discouraging it can be fighting with insurance companies and all about anything when you are sick.
