Subject: Almost Two Months Post Op

Well just one added note, last night I packed away clothes to give to

a friend at work since they are too big for me now. I wish I could

say that it was easy, but it wasn't. Always before I have saved my

sizes since I always new even on the way down, that somehow I would

be back on the " weigh " up. So I always kept everything.

Today I realize that I have a new life and I will never regain this

weight. What a relief, what a concept, what a surreal moment.

I was very open, about my surgery with my co-workers and peers at

work. Everyday there is someone new it seems, who stops me to tell me

how wonderful I look, how happy they are things went well for me,

etc. I am handing down my business clothes to one of those people.

The thing is, it is also very overwhelming for things to be moving so

fast. It is very good, but sometimes it does just make me stop and

pause and wonder who I will be in the next two months.

I recommend to anyone having the surgery, that you find someone you

can talk about the changes that you will be going thru post op. Even

though they are great changes, they are big changes and they happen

very fast.

Jeannie
