You're really sweet.

I may have had an alleged pancreatitis attack when I traveled a while back.

But, I most probably have biliary sludge issues. Kim M has Sphincter of The

Oddi.

Some have issues tolerating fats. Some IBD'ers disease advanced that it affects

other organs etc.

There are many colors of the rainbow on these lists with a multitude of health

problems!

IMO, I feel everyone who makes tweaks to the SCD should share it. This is how

some of us that struggle learn from one another and that way we all can use

critical thinking for ourselves. We are all here together to share and support

one another!

It is just important since there are many new people to the diet.. to label

advanced food items " advanced " . I made the critical mistake when I first

attempted the diet years ago to jump right into almond flour. I got so

incredibly sick that I wrote SCD off entirely. Luckily I kept the book and had

the sense and grace from *somewhere* to look at it again.

So, I think what you say is very much to the point. I just think it's critical

to preface it since your main focus is Pancreas issues and not severe Crohn's or

Ulcerative Colitis etc. Even so.. I am sure since we are all different you will

find fellow sufferers with your ailment doing something totally different.

That is the beauty of SCD we can tailor it to suit our own individual needs.

I wish I found it sooner.
