Guest guest
For those who wish to know just about all there is to know about kefir-making at home, this is the thorough site. It is not a retail or wholesale place, so I am not recommending anything to buy from Dom. The English is a bit clumsy, but the guy knows a lot about making kefir culture in milk, in water, in fruit juice in bee pollen -- you name it, the info is there. I have tried them all a bit; the only ones I like are raw milk, goat and cow; raw milk flavored with bee pollen; and fresh pressed white grape juice fermented with kefir grains. It makes a fizzy, champagne tasting liquid. Drink chilled! http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html As you can see, the author is in Australia, so it is not as if we can run over and have a taste.
